Known to the world as superheroes Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl, Bob Parr and his wife Helen were among the world's greatest crime fighters, saving lives and battling evil on a daily basis. Fifteen years later, they have been forced to adopt civilian identities and retreat to the suburbs to live "normal" lives with their three kids, Violet, Dash and Jack-Jack. Itching to get back into action, Bob gets his chance when a mysterious communication summons him to a remote island for a top secret assignment.

The Characters

      • Mr. Incredible is a superhero with great strength and durability. His strength is of such dimensions that he can single-handedly lift a semi-truck with little difficulty. In his everyday life, he goes by the name Bob Parr.

      •

        Helen Parr, known as Elastigirl in the golden age of superheroism, is a resourceful and dexterous superhero. She can stretch any part of her body up to 100' (30 m) to a minimum thickness of 1 mm, and mold it into several shapes and sizes.

      •

        Violet Parr is the daughter of Bob and Helen Parr. Called "Vi" by friends and family, she has the ability to produce force-fields and turn invisible. She has two brothers, Dash and Jack Jack.

      •

        Dashiell Robert "Dash" Parr is at age 10 the elder son of Bob and Helen Parr. He has the ability to move at great speeds, and is fast enough to run on the surface water. He has an older sister, Violet, and a younger brother, Jack-Jack.

      •

        Jack-Jack is the youngest child in the Parr family; his parents are Mr. Incredible (Bob Parr) and Elastigirl (Helen Parr). His primary power is shapeshifting, but has a large number of other powers.

      •

        Lucius Best, also known as Frozone, is the best friend and a close ally of Mr. Incredible. He has the ability to create ice and freeze surfaces with his hands.

      •

        Edna is a half-Japanese, half-German, short fashion designer and auteur. She is known for calling everyone "Dahling" ("darling").

      •

        Syndrome is an evil genius with buckteeth, a long chin and big hair. He also goes by the name Buddy Pine.

      •

        Mirage is the right-hand woman and love interest of Syndrome, having assisted him in killing off superheroes to further his plans.

      •

        Gilbert Huph is Bob Parr's aggravating previous boss.
