Cyrus DeBarge, a shy yet talented rap artist and musician who leads the choir at his father's church by day, while working as a busboy at a teen club by night. Cyrus pens romantic hip-hop verses only to stand idly by as they're delivered to the girl of his dreams by his best friend, until he eventually finds the confidence within himself to let his real talent shine.
